Delete your FoundBound account

FoundBound allows registered users to request deletion of their account and the associated saved relationship-evidence data.

Account deletion is separate from deleting a saved timelineIf you only want to remove one or more saved cases while keeping your FoundBound account active, use the Delete your FoundBound data page instead.

Request account deletion

  1. Sign in to FoundBound using the account you want to delete.
  2. Open your account/profile menu.
  3. Choose the account deactivation/deletion option.
  4. Confirm the request when prompted.

What happens after you request deletion

FoundBound currently deactivates the account first and schedules it for permanent deletion after a 90-day period. During that period, the account is not intended for normal active use.

Permanent account deletion is intended to remove the active FoundBound account and associated saved user content, including:

Information that may be retained

Limited security, abuse-prevention, fraud-prevention, operational, backup or legally required records may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary. Retained records are not intended to recreate deleted relationship photographs or deleted saved timelines.

Cannot access your account?

If you cannot sign in but still want to request account deletion, contact FoundBound from the email address associated with the account so we can verify the request.
